About the Tibetan Terrier

             In Tibet, this breed was considered good luck and prosperity to those privileged enough to own one.  Raised by the Tibetan Monks, who called them "little people", they were never sold, but given as gifts.  This little breed was worshipped as a sacred animal and guardian of Temples.  It was believed that when a Tibetan Monk died, he came back as a Tibetan Terrier.

    The Tibetan made its' way to England where it was officially recognized in 1930 and was named the  Tibetan Terrier.  It is important to understand that this in not a terrier as we know it but was named that because of its' size.

        Still a rare breed, the average person still does not realize what a wonderful and loyal companion the Tibetan Terrier is.

        We, at All My FUR Children, feel that you will be as amazed at this breed as we are (three of them currently sleep with us).  This hypo-allergenic, non-shedding dog will make a perfect addition to any family.
